This past Sunday night was the Season 5 Finale for Showtime‘s Nurse Jackie. I won’t give away the ending, but it’s a must-see if you are a fan of the show! Edie Falco is a gem.

Dexter returns with its 8th and FINAL SEASON on Sunday, June 30, 2013. If you haven’t watched this Showtime thriller, check it out on YouTube where there are many clips and season recaps. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! Contains Adult Content and Graphic Violence. As of this past weekend, there were still two more episodes to film, but Showtime Entertainment President David Nevins says, “This ending has been planned for a couple of years…” Will Dexter survive? I don’t know, but I sure hope the super talented Michael C. Hall will finally win an Emmy after six nominations.

BET’s The Game is returning Tuesday, July 2, 2013 after their mid-season finale. This is The Game‘s 6th season and they are getting back to the basics of football. Newcomer Jay Ellis as Blue is the rookie star player that replaced Pooch Hall‘s character Derwin Davis on the fictional Sabers team. The hilarious Coby Bell‘s character, Jason Pitts, was re-signed to the football team which puts him back with Hosea Chanchez‘s Malik Wright. Romantic drama is still prevalent with Blue and Keira’s (played by Lauren London) post hook-up. And with the triangle of ex-NBA player Rick Fox (playing himself), Tasha Mack (played by Wendy Raquel Robinson) and Pookie (played by Rockmond Dunbar)–which has Jason and his wife Chardonnay (played by singer Brandy) mixed up in it now.

Which returning shows will you be watching?
Which shows do you need to catch up on?
