I LOVE how you did this! So appropriate because often times, family will shoot a text/email/or FB before commenting on the blog! Super cool that they support!

On some of my early, early posts, my daddy left a comment under Anonymous (of course) and they were “so him” that I knew immediately that he had left them. Maybe I can get him and my mom to create gravatars and leave comments more often like your family does. 🙂

My daddy goes a little crazy with the emoticons. I laugh all the time at them. He likes LOL too, but then he'll use WTF when he's talking to me in person. The first time he did it, I almost choked from laughing.

Hi Kimberly! My mom reads, but not as often as she used to. She's 83! My sis in law does, and my brother is an infrequent reader. My cousins are hit and miss. Depends on the topic. Truth be told, I've grown to not let it bug me. Back in the day, it did, but I'm mostly over it. Glad to see that you get good support from your immediate family!

I wish my mother read it more. She's a huge book lover, but my daddy is the one who reads every post. Go figure! I have also been told voluntarily by friends and distant relatives that they read it. That makes me smile because I had no idea.
