My fellow blogger, Tianna at Storybook Apothecary does these great Halloween tag posts. I thought I’d give it a try this year. Feel free to join in!
What’s your favorite Halloween movie?
What age did you stop trick-or-treating?
The last time I went, I was 15! My BFF and I thought it would be funny. As an adult, I don’t think it’s funny anymore. The older kids usually try to take too much candy.
Favorite Halloween costume you’ve ever dressed up as?
Can’t remember a favorite costume as a kid. I grew up during the 70s/80s and I do remember going to K-Mart and picking out costumes. Back then, they were in a box set. A mask and a plastic all-in-one outfit of your favorite character. Talk about CLASSIC!
Will you dress up this year? If yes, as what?
Probably not. But if I did, a witch! Big, black pointy hat and all.
Do you enjoy haunted attractions?
Yes, but I haven’t been to one in years. Believe it or not, my Catholic elementary school used to do a haunted house every year.
Vampires or Werewolves?
Vampires. Better looking.
Do you prefer to make or buy your costume?
If I had all of the items pre-made to put the costume together, then I would make it. Otherwise, buy it because I don’t know how to sew.
Michael Myers or Freddy Krueger?
Freddy Krueger. A Nightmare on Elm Street was huge when I was a teenager. I’ve never even seen Halloween in its entirety.
Favorite Halloween candy?
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, snack size chocolate bars. The Deuce’s loot is never safe from me and Hubby.
Do you decorate your house for Halloween?
The Deuce says that I never decorate enough. We are in the process of moving, so I only did a few decorative pumpkins this year. Don’t want to scare away potential buyers.
Halloween costumes that you dislike/hate?
Costumes that look thrown together. If you aren’t going to make an effort, don’t dress up.
Have you ever repeated a costume? What was it?
I dressed up as a witch several times.
Do you believe in ghosts?
Not ghosts per se, but I believe spiritual beings exist.
Do you enjoy scary movies?
Sometimes. I like the ones I grew up on the most. But I was surprised by how much I like the Saw franchise.
Favorite Halloween treat that isn’t store-bought candy?
Favorite way to spend Halloween day/night?
I really enjoy passing out candy to trick-or-treaters in my neighborhood.
