Praying for the City of Boston
I have been busy most of the day preparing a post to share today. I stopped for a few minutes to make sure The Deuce made it home safely from school. It was then that I was asked by someone if I had heard about the Boston Marathon. I told the person that I had not. She said, “Turn on the news.”
My heart hurts for these people as I prepare for a race next month. Hopes, dreams, goals halted by senseless violence. The scenes are horrific. I pray for the families of the runners, spectators, and innocent bystanders.

It was a devastating day…heartbreaking. I'm very sad for the world our children are growing up in.
It's difficult to hear the stories of devastation that happened. I take some solace in the ones about people aiding victims. There is still some good in the world.
Long distance hugs!
Amen
