Every Thing Old Is New Again

I’m not ashamed to say that I’m a little nervous right now because things are about to change around here. The Deuce who turned 6 years old today (yeah!) is finishing Kindergarten tomorrow. This summer break will be the first time we are together all day every day since he was 1 year old. So I’m strolling through some of my old posts to revisit wisdom that I have conveyed to readers as well as retain their advice.

My Big Fat To Do List is a post that I need to print out and staple to my forehead. That way every time I procrastinate or get stressed out, I can walk to the mirror and read my reflection.

I enjoyed writing Super Bowl In The Bayou…Myth vs. Fact because the vibe in New Orleans was so good as we prepped for those festivities.

My longest post filled with content and no pictures was My Ode To Olivia Pope and J.R. Ewing. If you are a fan of Scandal and Dallas, then you know it had to be done.

Day Off From School (Bueller…Bueller?) gave me my first blogging accolade. ParentSociety.com rated it as one of its favorite posts of the week for their Mommy Blog Hot List. I pray it is not a foreshadowing of this summer.

My HaHeWi Tips page is filled with things that I need to say out loud and repeat. Happier, Healthier, Wiser.

The 3 Hour Tour…No Gilligan Here has some of the best pictures just because it’s New Orleans.

I LOVE writing and talking about movies so My Imitation Of Life Jumped Off A Streetcar Named Desire and I’m Headed Back To The Future are two of my faves. Both really resonated with readers.

And I poured my heart out in You Can Quote Me On That.

I’d really like to hear your comments on these posts. Please share below.
