  1. That is so cool! I need to get back on there and do more research! I found so much last time I did research, including a cousin that we didn't know we had that lives near my brother and parents!

    1. You can also connect with others online if you make your tree public. You can contact people that may have more information. I was only able to go back to mid 1880s on my father's side. I would love some pictures.

    1. It was a great addition for a Christmas gift for my father. I had exhausted gifts of ties, slippers, and gift cards over the years. He really enjoyed it.

  2. Amazing. How cool is it to have documentation dating back so far from your family. And the legacy of service to this country that your great grandfather left is so honorable. Thanks for sharing that.

    1. I did a free trial with Ancestry.com to make a family tree album for my daddy. I found all kinds of stuff. Census records from 1920 and 1930. There were the names of my great-grandparents and grandparents and their siblings in black and white. It was pretty interesting.
