And you thought your wedding day was hectic…

Sarah LaFore, dressed as Wonder Woman, tells her Amazon warrior bridesmaids about their entrance. Groom Tony Lucchese, dressed as Superman, alerts them to the hazards of their spears. “They’re theatrically blunted, but they can still do some damage,” Lucchese said.

New Yorkers Erin Finnegan and Noah Fulmor said “I do” in zero gravity in June 2009. The ceremony took place in a “specially modified Boeing 727-200 aircraft” that created a weightless environment for the couple and their guests. It was hosted by Zero Gravity Corporation, which bills itself as the only FAA-approved provider of commercial weightless flights.
Have you ever attended a wacky wedding?
What do you think about couples doing something bold on their special day?
I haven't attended a wedding as wacky as that one! I did attend the wedding of a wacky couple who were doing a traditional wedding. They wanted something that was “them” so they had some cool ceremony with a lava volcano during the vows. It was subtle but cool. What shocked me was that the bride's mother scowled and would tell everyone that it was “a scourge to an otherwise nice ceremony.” But really it was something that made them so happy! I don't get it. I'm all for the crazy, though.

Some people just don't understand that it's the couple's big day. It's about what they want! Thanks Tamara.
