I can’t believe it’s Friday already! It’s been a busy week for me. The Deuce came back home Sunday after 4 days at the beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama. My aunt and cousins took him there for some fun in the sun. As you can see, he had a ball!
I posted 2 rigged recipes this week which is a big deal for me because those posts have been few and far between. I made the Black Bean Soup in time for The Deuce’s arrival home to thank my family for taking him to the beach for the weekend. I hope y’all enjoy the recipe as much as I did.
SN: To round out the meal, Hubby made collard greens and I made some special Jiffy cornbread muffins. Extra sit-ups!
The Crockpot White Bean Turkey Chili was surprisingly good. I’m not crazy about the taste of white beans, but it came out so well. The cilantro garnish made it complete.
Next time I’ll puree more cans of beans to give it a thicker consistency. As well as add more fat free sour cream or Greek yogurt.
I did my first sponsored post, WineMaps: #1 App For Your Next Wine Tour via Sverve.com. I finally took the time to look into Sverve, link up some of my posts, and apply for some campaigns and it paid off–literally. It sure was fun talking about wine for an entire post. I didn’t mention boxed wine once!
How was your week?
Are you engaging in campaigns on Sverve?

Thanks Melissa! I put off learning about Sverve for a while, but so glad I took some time to learn more about it.

You black bean soup looks delicious! I haven't heard too much about Sverve, but I'll have to check it out.
Love the recipes, Kimberly. And I'm going to check out Sverve. I've heard mixed reviews, but I need to see what's up for myself.

Ailson, I've done two campaigns for Sverve now and I'm enjoying it. There are different advantages for each one. You may get a flat rate for one and commissions on purchases for another. Good luck!

IKR, I need to take the time to delve into it more as well.
I wasn't getting any responses from the Sverve campaigns that I applied for initially. Then I added some of my posts to the Tips feature and edited My Areas of Influence. That's when I started to get feedback.
