Just Coffee For My Cream Please
I signed up for BlogHer’s NaBloPoMo for the month of August. For those unfamiliar with it, NaBloPoMo is short for National Blog Posting Month. Although November is the official anniversary month of the concept, monthly challenges occur to keep bloggers engaged and connected. Really excited about doing this blog challenge where I post every day this month. The theme is HOT. This Louisiana girl has no problem finding material for that!
Coffee is my HOT drink of choice. Has been all my adult life. I have gone through different phases with it. Cream and sugar. Black. And now lots of cream only. Hubby once worked for a national coffee manufacturer and he never drank the stuff. Provided us with great perks though (pun intended!).

Here are two of my favorite coffee mugs to drink from. I’ve had the GRITS one for over 10 years. I bought it when I lived in Atlanta.
The special ceramic one (pictured below) is from Starbucks. It was an awesome present from my book club friends in Detroit.

I drink coffee a little less these days since I started drinking LIMU. It’s a healthy lifestyle drink with a special ingredient called fucoidan. I posted about my experience with LIMU here. It gives me great all around energy with natural caffeine. However, I still enjoy a cup of hot coffee the morning after a late night or when I need to stay up late to meet a writing goal.
What is your hot drink of choice?
Do you drink iced coffee?
Love that Grits mug – where can I get one?!
I recently discovered cold pressed coffee; for some reason it doesn't give me acid reflux like regular coffee does. I drink mine with coconut milk. 🙂

I could drink coffee black like I once did, if I'm out of cream or milk. It doesn't have to be sweet, but I prefer it hot if it's not iced coffee. Thanks for commenting!

My hubby says that I clearly do not like coffee because I use a lot of milk and sugar. He takes the stuff black with solids in it. Just smelling his coffee makes my heart race.
I always wanted to be one of those writers who writes in coffee bars. LOL. I'm following your blog now. Thanks for connecting, Frances.

Currently I am off caffeine, but in the good old days I loved Starbucks Caramel Macchiatos. I did most of my writing in coffee bars, so when we got our first computer and AOL account my daughter dubbed me the coffeebarchick. Found you via the blogroll. Looking forward to sharing.
I like tea also. Peppermint tea is one of my faves. Thanks for stopping by, Corinne!

Good luck with the challenge. I love my coffee and tea too!
Awesome Kim! Go for it! I don't drink coffee 🙂
