This Girl Is On Fire

I am fast approaching one year since I quit my full-time job to become a WAHM. I’ve had some wins and I’ve had some losses during this time. I can’t blame anyone but myself for the latter. I struggle with procrastination as I’ve said before in My Big Fat To Do List and Just Do It Already! It’s my Achilles’ heel, y’all.
This time last year I was quite proud of myself and so were others. I was a rock star! And it felt pretty damn good. I was accomplishing goals left and right. Lately I’ve been the rock star on the reality show that former rock stars turn down.
BUT THAT’S OKAY!
I may be down, but I’m not out. I am making some changes and setting some things in motion. It’s all a part of being happier, healthier, and wiser. So get out of my way, this Virgo is about to blaze a trail!

Don’t forget about my September Sapphire Even Day Blog Challenge starting September 2, 2013. Link-ups, giveaway, prizes. Don’t get mad, get EVEN!
BlogHer NaBloPoMo August 2013 writing prompt: Yeats said: “Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot; but make it hot by striking.” Do you think this is good advice?
I would love to make more time for my scrapbooking hobbies and start doing DIY projects. Slowly but surely! Thanks for stopping by, Winnie.

Love that you are doing what you want to do (even if you procrastinate!) I do the same, as I have a lot of projects I want to do, and cards for people, but lately I am enjoying the summer and scrabbling to catch up. I used to post more and this summer, not so. But it is all good.

I love your attitude. It's ok to acknowledge the setback, but way to go with setting up YOUR comeback! Blaze your trail girl, blaze your trail. I'm sure you'll lead the way for many to follow.

I definitely know what you mean! I've been procrastinating things so badly recently. Even when I get things done, it's not enough to meet my own crazy high standards. I'm trying to accomplish a little more and expect a little less of myself. Hopefully between the two I can come to a place where I feel successful.

My pleasure, Michell. Glad to know I am not the only procrastinator in blogland. Quite a few bloggers have told me they are going through the same thing.
