  1. Fantastic tips!! Thank you so much for sharing these, I really love the sidebar tip. Makes perfect sense. I love pinterest and the traffic is so real on there! I need to follow your advice for sure.

  2. I need to add something to my sidebar but as you know PInterest is at the bottom of my priority list. I know I should move it up based on it’s ability to draw traffic, but there’s only so much I can do. I will go pin something now though 🙂 Oh, I’ll try hashtags as well! Thanks Kim!

    1. I let Pinterest stay at the bottom of my priority list for a long time. Once I got Twitter and Facebook where I wanted them, I started concentrating on Pinterest. It works! Thanks, girl.

  3. Brilliant advice Kimberley! I love Pinterest but only have a grand total of 6 followers, hehe, I will definitely add the hashtags and link one into my sidebar.
    Thanks for sharing this advice.

    1. Initially, I didn’t grasp how Pinterest could bring traffic to your blog. Once I did some research, the light bulb came on over my head. It is a pleasure connecting with you, Laurie.

  4. Thanks for these tips! I had no idea you could use hashtags in Pinterest. I’m still getting there with my boards. I sometimes have to remind myself to pin when I see things I like. Some days I’m on a roll, and I’m finding all sorts of stuff to pin, and then other days… LOL! I do have my recent pins showing up on my sidebar though.

    1. Pinterest is my bookmarklet app these days. As you know, there are so many great posts out there to read. But I don’t always have time. So I pin it to read it later instead of having dozens of browser windows open.

  5. I like the idea of putting a Pinterest board as a blog widget, Kimberly. Gonna try it out this weekend. As always, thanks for the tips!
