    1. When your fan page is linked to your personal one, someone can simply hover their mouse over the link to the fan page and click LIKE! Quick and easy. Thanks, Shawn.

  1. Hey Kimberly! I have the apps and love them, the only one I’m not doing is the “messenger”. I’ll have to check that one out! Thanks for sharing. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving…yeah I’m sooo late with that one!

  2. I cannot deal with all these social networks. I have resolved to let my blog posts automatically go to my facebook page and I have been trying my best to engage for Visalus on my personal page bc that seems to be worth more of my time. I hope my FB loyals are still getting my content.

    1. I know that you are a busy woman, Joi. I use the WordPress setting to have my posts go to Twitter automatically. I should try it with fb too. Thanks, girl!

  3. Great post! I have had a personal page for years, and fan page for a few months. I am still trying to figure out how all of it works, to some degree. At least enough to utilize its full potential, which I don’t think that I am yet! Thank you so much for linking up for Meandering Mondays, Kimberly! Have a great week!

    1. Facebook is constantly evolving and it can be a little challenging to figure it all out. There is an INSIGHTS feature on your fan page that can break down how your statuses and posts are being viewed. It’s very helpful. Thanks Stacey!

  4. Like the first comment I have been using Hootsuite as well. Really has helped me save time. I will log into a social media site and then spend more time than I should. Especially pinterest.

    1. I try to use a timer or “allow” myself 30 minutes to an hour on a social media site. Pinterest and fb are my time traps. Thanks, Aleshea!

  5. Facebook can be frustating to me, especially since they just came out and said that they’ll be showing less of of our pages updates yet again. It was nice that they suggested we could get our updates out there more by paying to boost them. I’ve been stewing on this for days and how to handle it. Great post though – very informative!!

    1. I just read the article about Facebook’s latest changes. That is disheartening. I’m not willing to pay for promoting my Facebook posts. Thanks, Michelle!

  6. Understand what you mean with getting lost in Facebook! Do it all the time (like now)! I’ve been using Hootsuite for a lot of my posting and can even look through my timeline/pages/groups on there also, so that’s cut down some of my time. The only thing I don’t like is I can’t tell if someone liked/shared my statuses.

And I just added my blog onto my personal page! Thanks!

    1. I have used Hootsuite but am still very green with it. I need to learn more about how to use it effectively. Thanks, Tara!
