Traffic, a Proposal, and a Quiz
Happy Monday, BAW Readers! Hope your weekend was a good one. Mine was.
I managed to put up some more Christmas decorations and catch up on some shows on my DVR. Shahs of Sunset on BRAVO is my new reality TV show favorite! I sold a few print versions of my book. Hubby, The Deuce, and I hung out with some friends for food, laughs, and cocktails (The Deuce had CapriSun 🙂 ). Then we watched as their son proposed to his girlfriend. That was a pretty special thing to witness.
I spent a lot of time reading all the posts for another great Traffic Jam Weekend Linky Party. I am still reading, sharing, and commenting. I love how diverse the link-ups have been. There is something for everyone to enjoy and discover. That’s what I think linky parties are really all about. Thank you everyone for your participation.
Leah from LMLewis Writes linked up a post about her participation in another link-up. It’s called The Blogmopolitan Quiz! Some of you have probably heard of it or done one too by now. It stems from Erin at Two Thirds Hazel who created the quiz due to her love for Cosmo mag quizzes. I liked the idea so much that I quickly downloaded and completed one before I finished reading Leah’s answers. When I went back to finish viewing Leah’s quiz, I laughed at how 4 of our answers were identical.
Here is my quiz…
Which answers would I have in common with you?
Do you answer the quizzes in magazines like Cosmo?
Have you ever witnessed a marriage proposal?

Great post! Isn’t it beautiful when you get to see a proposal? It’s just so beautiful and heartfelt. I completely missed the Linky party this week, but I’ll be linking up next week and adding to my Link-Up Love page! I also completed the Blogmopolitan Quiz – I really enjoyed it! I would have never thought to do the same!
Thanks for joining us again on Turn It Up Tuesday! We always love having you! 🙂
My pleasure to link up with you each week. I’ll probably be doing the next Traffic Jam Weekend around January 16, 2014. I’ll e-mail you a reminder. Thanks, Natasha!
Don’t get enough exercise? Check.
Lower lip biter? Check.
Need to be more assertive? Check.
Two out of the three between casual, conservative, and practical.
We’re similar in a few ways. =) Well, that and our love of grammar.
Lots of similarities, Kim!
You don’t like licorice? I love licorice….
Yes, I too, talk to myself… ONLY when I’m alone 🙂
Thanks for linking up to Mommy Monday!
XOXO
No, no licorice for me. I don’t even like the smell. LOL Thanks!
I’m practical, need to exercise more and I love the crab shell ornament! Too cool.
One of The Deuce’s classmates gave out those ornaments at school last year. Who Dat Nation!
I’ve seen these quizes going around and I think they are so cute and fun. I can eat just about anything or will try it once but I am with you on the Liver. I just can’t even.
My mother made liver and onions with mashed potatoes when I was growing up. She is a fantastic cook, but I just don’t like the taste of liver. I don’t care how much stuff you put on it or around it!
Sounds like you have a fun time! Love your photos 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

Yes, Nancy. It’s nice to unwind after a long week. Thank you.
So cool being a witness to a proposal! I like this quiz! I think I want to do it! We must fix the exercise thing in 2014 😉
How about we just photoshop my head on to your body in 2014? LOL
I’m just like you when it come to my iPhone 4s and reality TV, although I had to let the RHOA go because those broads don’t represent women I know here in Atlanta.
Ha! I have held on to RHOA tightly, but I let go of the Basketball Wives after the 1st season. Thank you, Joyce!
Sorry I missed the link party – it was a birthday overload weekend here. Anyway, we def have the black eyeliner in common. I won’t skimp on it either. I’ve never found an eyeliner that I love as much as MAC powerpoint. I love the smell of Patchouli – hate licorice and scrunching my nose up at liver. When I was too young to “read” Cosmo, I used to get a notebook and paper do the quizzes when my mom wasn’t around. In later years I would buy the magazine FOR the quiz.
I’ve always thought it was so neat how my birthday, my mother’s, and my father’s are all in September. But seeing how you, Christopher, and your mother are all in succession is something spectacular. Hope you guys had fun, Kenya. There’s always next month to link up for Traffic Jam Weekend.
