  1. Great job on the interview Kimberly your truly a gifted writer . Your friend Dino takes lovely photographs. My hat goes off to him. I think it takes a special person to teach High School . I always wanted to be a school teacher but I don’t think I could teach teenagers!

    1. You are so sweet, Kim. Thank you. I have been able to witness Dino as a photographer, educator, husband, and now author first hand. He is a pretty special person.

  2. Great interview – an excellent point about if teaching were just about the kids and not the standardized test. We went to a literacy meeting back in December that the school asked the third grade parents to attend. Some new legislation has passed and these third grade teachers only have the second half of the school year to do get our kids ready for some testing they hadn’t planned for. You could already see in December how exhausting the thought of that was to them.

I’m sitting here drinking a 100% cranberry juice out of a favorite wine glass. I used to drink wine but seemed to become allergic to it. Someone gave me a bottle for Christmas and I just had to have some like maybe the allergic effect on my had passed. LOL – sadly not the case. I miss it. Surprisingly though the cranberry juice in a wine glass has an relaxing (psychological) effect.

    1. I used to drink Fre'(non-alcoholic) wine in a wineglass when I was pregnant. It was a psychological thing too! Thanks Kenya.

  3. I really liked your friend Dino’s photography 🙂 I have never been on a tour of a vineyard before. Texas doesn’t have the best selection of wineries. I would have to say my favorite wine is a cabernet sauvignon 🙂 I really like a dark red 🙂

    1. Thanks for your kind words. The wine region here in Michigan is beautiful, and it was so much fun taking photos.

  4. Great Interview!! And, I always say regardless of what you do for a living; make time to pursue your passions. They fill us up.

  5. Another excellent interview! I understand that transformation of interest. The same thing happened to me and snowballed into all this healthy fit living environment. His work (both….much respect for educators) is beautiful.
