Pinterest to the Rescue Again
I have not done a Rewind: Repost feature in some time now. So today I am sharing my latest picks on Pinterest that have given me great relief at home.
My slow cooker is one of my best friends! I adore it even more when I can cook an entire meal in it. Hence this recipe gem that I found on Pinterest….

I tried this slow cooker recipe from Sarah Olson at The Magical Slow Cooker this past weekend with boneless skinless chicken thighs. I bought a 6 lb. bag of them from Sam’s Club and I was anxious to do something with them. I didn’t do the green beans (next time!), but I did use the baby red potatoes. The seasoning mixture was perfect for giving this dish some great flavor.

I make this dish quite often because it is always a hit with Hubby and The Deuce. However, I make it a bit differently than Mr. Lagasse. Don’t tell him! I make my roux first with flour and oil–and then I follow his recipe. I try to keep a pack of crawfish tails in my freezer as often as I can. Thank goodness Winn-Dixie has them year ’round!
See ya later,
Kimberly
