I wish that I could sing. And not just hold a note. I mean SANG! Like Jennifer Hudson in Dreamgirls. Like Whitney Houston in The Preacher’s Wife. I always wanted to do a stirring solo in my church choir as a kid. Or impress an audience with my rendition of ANY SONG EVER. But it just wasn’t meant to be.

I’ll never forget the regional acting competition that I entered during college when I was required to sing. Didn’t matter that I didn’t possess that talent. It was a requirement for the competition. I nailed the scene with my monologue, but then I blew it when I belted out God Bless America. Why I chose that song…I don’t know why. Probably because I thought it would be easy. It was brutal. Not just for me, but for the packed auditorium that had to endure it. Sorry, y’all.
Which talent or skill do you wish you could possess and why?
See ya later,
Kimberly

Interesting challenge. I love the way you interact with your readers with this post! #I will be back on #trafficjamweekend. I discovered some great new blogs out there!
I’m very happy to hear that. Thank you, Cecile!
As always we are truly sisters! I too wish that I could blow. I really didn’t like singing in the youth choir bc I honestly can’t sing. I will belt it out anyway in my car though 🙂 !
Of course, we’re in sync!
