The Integrity Advantage by Kelley Kosow (A Book Review)

Are you looking for a step-by-step book on how to live on your own terms? To become fearless and gain self-trust? The Integrity Advantage: Step Into Your Truth, Love Your Life, and Claim Your Magnificence by Kelley Kosow shows you that and more. Recently published, this insightful self-help manual has been endorsed by Iyanla Vanzant and Jack Canfield among others.

Kosow is a former lawyer who became a Master Integrative Life Coach under the tutelage of Debbie Ford, founder of The Ford Institute. Ford’s work as a motivational speaker, best-selling author, and personal development guru changed Kosow’s life. Before Ford passed away from cancer in 2013, she had a conversation with Kosow that inspired The Integrity Advantage.
Every time you bite your tongue, you swallow your integrity.
Some of the strategies that are discussed in the book are how to:
• Connect with your inner truth
• Level up your self-love and self-trust
• Embrace the totality of who you are
• Turn the tide on mediocrity
• Break free of the “gravitational pull” of your past
• Become the person you want to be

Stop living from your “to-do” list and start living from your “bucket” list.

The chapters that spoke to me the most are “Step 5: Stop Starving Your Soul” and “Step 7: The Power of I AM”. These two steps in the integrity process are where I feel I need the most guidance. The insights and suggested questions to ask myself are quite eye-opening. You can benefit from the lessons and worksheets too. Be sure to check out the “Integrity Snatchers” chapter!

Kelley Kosow continues to preserve and share the legacy of her mentor Debbie Ford. She is now the CEO of The Ford Institute and helps thousands of people worldwide.
