TRAFFIC JAM WEEKEND LINKY PARTY #132
Yesterday, the world witnessed another horrific school shooting in the United States. I discussed the tragedy with The Deuce because I know they practice lockdown drills at his school. He told me what his teacher instructed the students to do and it was bittersweet for me to hear. He knows what to do, yet no child should have to prepare for something like that at school. We are praying for you, Parkland, Florida.

The U2 lyric, “I can’t believe the news today…I can’t close my eyes and make it go away…” keeps playing in my head. How long, how long before people actually try to fix these issues? So heart-wrenching.
Thank you for the lovely feature and for giving us a blog party to hang around all weekend meeting other bloggers, I can’t tell you how much we appreciate this, especially in tough times.
Hope this weekend is a peace-filled one.
