Cole Slaw Recipe
Are you a fan of cole slaw? My easy recipe allows you to serve it as a side dish or to complement pulled pork sandwiches. Yum!
1-2 lbs. cabbage
3 ribs of celery
1 onion (yellow)
1 bell pepper
3 carrots
1-2 cups sugar
Chop all vegetables and mix with sugar. Set cabbage mixture aside.
1/2 cup of white vinegar
1/2 cup Apple Cider vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp kosher salt
Bring all to a boil, pour over cabbage mixture, and stir. Chill overnight or serve when ready. Drain excess liquid off.
How do you prepare cole slaw?
Do you serve it on sandwiches or as a side dish?
See ya later,
Kimberly
I LOVE coleslaw, but haven’t made my own. Thanks for sharing this recipe! Yummy! I am going to attempt to make it!

So so simple to do. Thanks Christine!
I love Coleslaw! My mom makes the best vinegar one. We just had it on Thanksgiving. I’ll have to try this recipe also!

Easy stuff to make!
Kimberly, I’d love to have a big bowl of this right now! I love all kinds of coleslaw — this kind or the creamy kind. I think it’s so refreshing. Unfortunately, I have to leave out the onion.
It’s super easy to make. I never even tried coleslaw on a sandwich until I made this recipe. Delish!
I wish I just had this. Went and bought some lol.
The most time consuming part for me is chopping the cabbage because I buy it whole. The rest is quick and easy. Enjoyed reading your blog last Wednesday during your SITS day. Thanks for stopping by mine.
