TRAFFIC JAM WEEKEND LINKY PARTY #245
Hey, y’all! I hope you are well. Some of you probably have kids that have gone back to school already and/or you have returned as a faculty member. Our county in KC, KS is still on track to begin school on September 8th. I ordered a customized face mask for Teen Deuce this week. Never thought I’d be doing that. What a time we are living in right now. One bright spot was seeing Kamala Harris chosen as Joe Biden’s running mate. #BlackGirlMagic
No matter what your politics or beliefs are, I welcome you to join the linky party and share your posts. There is enough love in the universe for everyone. Take care!

These are the featured posts from Traffic Jam Weekend #244…
Michelle chose Quilled Silhouette Self Portrait from The Answer is Chocolate. “Besides being a lovely piece of art in general, the quilling aspect is both pretty and fascinating.”
Kimberly chose Back to School DIYs from Chas’ Crazy Creations. “Love the DIY tips in this post for helping kids get organized for school.”
Laurie chose Not Back to School from Jennifer A. Lambert. “This pandemic has changed so many things. This is a good idea of how to continue those school days traditions with kiddos in our lives who may not be physically returning to school outside of their homes. Remote learning and homeschooling are both very different right now than they were a year ago. This post helps with ideas to create new traditions for the new school year.”
The post with the most views was Over the Hill Linkup and Giveaways by our very own Seeking Serenity & Harmony.

We start Distance Learning tomorrow. Not really looking forward to teaching this way. But it is what it is.
Kamala is from the East Bay and lived here until she was 12. I remember when she was D.A. in San Francisco as I taught in SF Juvenile Hall then. She didn’t play around. A bunch of juveniles were charged as 707B (or as an adult) when she was D.A. of the city.
Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 8-10 to 8-14 on my blog. On Tuesday was Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. Wednesday was Double Crust Cherry Pie. Thursday was Double Crust Bluebarb Pie. And winding up this final week of Fruit Pies was my Double Crust Peach Pie. Enjoy!
Schools are supposed to start up next week here, and I’m definitely not really ready. I am liking that idea for setting out a week’s clothing so there’s not as much drama every morning though! Thanks for hosting! I brought by some Balsamic Roasted Pineapple. Hope you enjoy. 🙂
My kids start back virtually on Monday and in person (fingers crossed) on sept 8.
I am so honored to be chosen as one of your features. Thank you! Happy weekend!
Thank you so very much for the feature and for another wonderful party. I hope you have a great week!
