TRAFFIC JAM WEEKEND LINKY PARTY #248
Tough week, y’all! I feel like I am constantly having to deliver bad news to Teen Deuce. Sadly, I think he is becoming used to it. I don’t like that. Many of his favorite rappers and YouTubers have died tragically and were only 21 or younger. He received the news of Chadwick Boseman’s passing pretty well. Again, I don’t like that. Of course, I don’t want him to be devastated but I also don’t want him to become immune to it.
He hung out with his neighborhood friends this past week for the first time since March. Yes, he was the poster child for QUARANTINE all spring and summer. Needless to say, he was exhausted when he returned home. Hubby thinks I spent a little too much on Teen Deuce’s Under Armour face mask. But guess what? He loves it and wears it constantly. The first day of 8th Grade is next Tuesday! It’s online but it’s going to be super legit. No more vampire hours, late-night eating, and Xbox marathons. Teen Deuce’s school switched out his student iPad for a Microsoft Surface Go. I am so envious! It would be perfect for me. LOL
In other news…My mother’s 68th birthday is this weekend and the first one that she will spend in heaven. I love you, Momma. I wish I could call you to celebrate.
HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY LABOR DAY WEEKEND EVERYONE!

Laurie chose Use these 9 strategies to share responsibly on social media from Watercress Words. “I find it increasingly frustrating using social media lately. So much misinformation and sharing of false information. I think this oversharing of false or misleading information is contributing to the division we are seeing.”
Michelle chose Seen on the Whitney Peak Hotel from Adventures in Weseland. “I love murals. And I love how some places use them to beautify a piece of property or an area. These murals are just lovely.”
This post also had the most views.
Tracy chose Sweet Potato and BACON Pizza… from Cindy’s On-line Recipe Box. “I go to a lot of brunches and church suppers. This is a nice dish to take on the go. I can’t wait to try it!”
