TRAFFIC JAM WEEKEND LINKY PARTY #259
Well, y’all, Teen Deuce will be returning to remote learning after the Thanksgiving break as mandated by his school district. I suspected it, he has been speaking it into existence, and here it is. This is not a game, people! I am grateful that my son’s school district is being diligent and responsible. Many of the other school districts in the KC area are doing the opposite. Teen Deuce’s school has had two low-risk exposure cases in two weeks’ time and frankly I thought there would be more given the size of the school.
The last week or so has been challenging for me. On top of recognizing the 1 year anniversary of my mother’s passing, I also learned of the unexpected deaths of two of my childhood classmates. 46 years old and 49 years old. Not COVID related. Tomorrow is not promised. Celebrate life while you are still here to do it.
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday next week, there will be no Traffic Jam Weekend Linky Party next week. We will be back on Thursday, December 3rd!
PLEASE HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Super cool picture of Deuce. Very nice young man. Wow, Thanks for the feature , that is so very cool. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
We have been distance learning since the fall here in CA. It’s challenging but it seems to work for my student.
Grief is hard – dealing with the loss of my beloved MIL It seems the book I wrote – The Comfort of Night is for this season.
Life is short but its also for living. Only with God’s help do we do this well. Thanks for hosting and a blessed thanksgiving to you and yours.
Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for hosting! I brought by some Miso Tofu. Hope you enjoy. 🙂
Saying a prayer for you in your grief.
Thank you for hosting. This is what I featured the week of 11-9 to 11-13-2020 on my blog. On Tuesday was Aunt Sally’s Lemon Jello. Wednesday was Cranberry Apple Relish. Thursday was Maple Roasted Sweet Potatoes. Winding up Thanksgiving Preparations was an article for Common Emergency Substitutions. Enjoy!
Our kiddos will be returning to remote learning too. Sports are paused-at least for now, and I too am grateful. I’d rather have my kiddos and family safe, then look back in regret later. Thank you for another fantastic opportunity to connect, share, and see what fellow writers are up to.
Wishing you a fantastic weekend!
Happy Thanksgiving! May God provide you with the strength that you need during this time.
Thanks so much for hosting! I’m linking up with a poll for WHAT’S ON YOUR THANKSGIVING MENU? Let’s see what dishes everyone serves.
My goodness you are so kind to feature my recent blog- Kindness Matters. It is very exciting to be singled out! THANK YOU much appreciated.
