Take Frequent Activity Breaks
For the sake of your children’s bodies, you don’t want them to spend every waking second of the day hunched over a computer. Get your kids moving whenever possible. Allow Time Away From the Screen
The screens we spend all day staring at can be quite detrimental to us. Computer screens generate a lot of harmful blue light that can degenerate your eyes and cause painful eye strain. No matter how much energy they might seem to have after being locked inside all day, you need to make sure they get the right amount of sleep. Poor sleep habits can cause problems with focusing and retaining information. Keeping them on a tight sleep schedule will help them in school, even if they don’t particularly like it.
Ask Them How They Feel
Parents can sometimes have the bad habit of believing they completely understand what’s going on in their children’s heads. One of the best tips for keeping your child healthy during virtual learning is to listen to their individual needs. Ask them how they’re feeling, and take what they say seriously. Their feelings are just as valid as yours, especially if they say they feel burnt-out or overly worried about school.
