Hey, y’all! I hope you are well, especially if you were in the path of Hurricane Ida this past week. As a native Louisianian, I don’t miss that treacherous weather or its effects at all. My daddy was without power overnight before it was restored in his area. However, my sister and her family have not had power since Sunday night. About 80% of Baton Rouge has no electricity or internet service. It’s like Katrina and the Great Flood of 2016 all over again for many there. The lines for gas are long, food is scarce, delivery trucks can’t get through, and it’s hot as hell!
I appreciate you all. Stay safe this Labor Day weekend!
